Forbesfest - St Andrews - 12th to 15th November 2009
Andrea is going to be the guest luthier at the prestigious Forbesfest 2009, showcasing instruments and supporting musicians as needed.
Forbesfest celebrates the centenary of the birth of twentieth-century St Andrews' most eminent musical son - the viola player Watson Forbes, one of the most celebrated British instrumentalists of his generation, who for thirty years played with one of the foremost British string quartets, the Aeolian Quartet; and who rounded off his career with a decade as Head of Music, BBC Scotland (1964-74). |
